backup of masterton run

Copied from email
Hey dude,Just a quick run down and a couple of photos from today's run over the hill.Firstly we stopped at Kerry Dudsons building in Carterton which was loaded with cars (easily 30 odd) in all stages of rebuild. This is on top of his amazing collection of memorabilia. From there we went onto Bob Wiltons home for coffee and bikkys where we were treated to part of his Zephyr collection as well as his vast collection of gear he has brought together over the years. He also told us of his intention in the very near future to open a classic car Museum in Carterton. After leaving here we went through to Magoos to look over the normal high standard of cars being built. We also managed to pick up another couple of new members (Hugh & Paula) who's 1936 Dodge truck is in its final stages of rebuild by Magoo. When we had finished there most of us headed home but not before stopping at the Buckhorn for a late lunch.Well done to Darryl for organizing an awesome day which he combined with Gold Coast Rod and Custom. This first is a shot of all the cars as we waited for the stragglers, and then the second is of some of the cars outside the Buckhorn in Carterton.Third shot is of the boy who finally ran out of energy even after stopping because Rochelle needed an ice cream to finish the day.
P.S Don't forget Hustlers run next Sunday 23.07.06 (Mainfreight yard) in Gracefield 10.00am, and then Palmy swapmeet Saturday 5.08.06. we will have a ring around before both of these.cheers,Mark
